Overview

Pitsford School first admitted girls in September 1999. We now take pupils from the age ofthree through to eighteen. A full range of academic subjects through to GCSE, A level and University entrance are taught. Classes are deliberately kept small to ensure the best personal tuition. The curriculum draws on the best of the grammar school traditions of the past, makes them relevant to today's needs, and ensures that they are applicable to the demands of the future. The School aims to educate the whole person and sets, expects and maintains high standards in all its disciplines and extra-curricular activities. Competition both in work and sport is encouraged and emphasis is placed on developing the highest personal and moral qualities. The School has not formed a particular connection with any one religious denomination, but strives to portray a living Christianity that reflects the whole range of denominations and it is sympathetic to other faiths. Assemblies, church services and religious education on the timetable ensure that moral and spiritual values underpin all the work.
