When you first enter our extensive grounds you will see a school that has educated boys to the highest standards for over 130 years, with scholarships and entrance places to the best British public schools. You will also see a whole host of academic, creative and sporting facilities which we have constantly expanded and updated; most recently our brand new Science and Technology centre.Lockers Park is proud to be a school exclusively for boys. We have been educating boys since 1874 and are proud of our distinguished history. We blend modern, state-of-the-art facilities and teaching methods with traditional values and well-loved customs.We value our small, family atmosphere, which means that the boys are well known to all staff, from form teacher to matron. Class sizes are small, an average of 14 with a staff:pupil ratio of 1:8, enabling each boy's individual potential to be reached.In all aspects of the school – whether in lessons, on the playing fields or in free time – boys' particular needs are catered for. Our emphasis on outdoor play, exercise every day and a wide range of boys' activities leads, we believe, to an increased concentration during lessons.
