We are academically strong and our pupils perform very impressively in public examinations. Our pupils' GCSE and (I)GCSE results for 2014 were record-breaking. 82% of all GCSE and (I)GCSE entries were graded at A* or A, up from 77% in 2013.Our pupils' GCE A Level and Pre-U resultsproduced 59% of grades at A* or A, and 88.9% of all examination entries graded at A*-B. On the strength of these results, three of our pupils take up places at Oxbridge this autumn to read English Literature, Mathematics (Oxford), and Natural Sciences (Cambridge). Other World Class Higher Education destinations includethe universities of Bristol, Durham, Exeter and Nottingham, Imperial College, King's College and University College London, the London School of Economics and St Andrew's University, as well as Johns Hopkins University in the USA. Analysis of (I)GCSE results five years later provides schools with a 'Value-Added Score'. This is a measure of how much better pupils perform at (I)GCSE compared to predictions made from the baseline. The placing of IPS from the Summer 2013 examinations gave us the best ever result. We were ranked in the top 1.5% of all schools nationally and in the top 2.0% of independent schools; a remarkable reflection on the diligence of the pupils and on the inspiration and dedication of the teaching staff
