Fyling Hall is a unique and wonderful place, set in the beautiful North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views over Robin Hood's Bay. Since our foundation in 1923, we have welcomed pupils of all abilities, confident that good teaching in our family-like community gives every child the best possible chance to excel.Our pupils come from a great variety of backgrounds, and are given the chance to thrive in a school which encourages learning, music, drama and sport, and enjoys facilities including a theatre, sports hall, all-weather pitch and our own ponies.After 90 years, Fyling Hall continues to be a small and friendly independent school with fees among the most affordable in the country.Our founder chose as the school's motto Masefield's words‘The days that make us happy make us wise'And this continues to be the guiding principle of our great little school.
