Cundall Manor is situated in a magnificent 50 acre site in the vale of York, between Ripon and Thirsk in North Yorkshire. The school occupies a very accessible position, being close to the A1 and A168 and nearby International airports. We are a thriving fully co-educational independent school which caters for children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 16 years of age. Boys and girls are thoroughly prepared for entry into a variety of senior schools in Yorkshire and beyond and we have a good scholarship record. Much has changed in the last 20 years and continual improvements are being made to keep abreast of changing needs and increasing numbers.We aim to promote independence, confidence, self-esteem, mutual respect and a strong work ethos in each child and provide a safe, caring environment where all children feel happy, secure and valued as individuals. Pupils get the opportunity to learn more about themselves and work towards an understanding of what they may be capable of achieving in life.It's a wonderful place, I was very happy there. It's in one of the most beautiful parts of the world I have ever visited. Every time I'm in Yorkshire I want to go and revisit Cundall, it's a very magical place
