Course Description
This distance learning course builds on the teaching and research interests of members of the Leicester De Montfort Law School. It is designed to meet the needs of lawyers and non-legal professionals and for all those with an interest in sports law and practice. Within the LLM programme, each student has the opportunity to develop his or her own interests with the freedom to choose from a range of module options. Within the LLM Programme, each student has the opportunity to develop his or her own interests with the freedom to design a course either leading to a named award in Sports Law and Practice, or if preferred, studying a more diverse selection leading to an LLM in Law. Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma levels are also available. Leicester De Montfort Law School is proud to announce its appointment as Host University and Academic Partner to the British Association for Sport and the Law. BASL, whose President is Michael Beloff QC, was founded in 1992 and is the professional association representing sports law practitioners, sports administrators and sports law academics and students.
