Royal Horticultural Society - Approved Centre About the Course This introductory-level course will provide you with a solid foundation in all aspects of horticultural science, principles and technical skills. You will be taught to the standard of the RHS General Certificate in Horticulture qualification. Course Content Areas of study include: Plant & Soil Science, Cultivation of Fruits & Vegetables, Crop Production under Glass, Lawn Care, Cultivation & Management of Plants in Gardens and Propagation. Delivery and Assessment Upon completion of the course, students can if they wish, apply to take the RHS General Certificate, which is an external examination. What Next? Upon successful completion of this course, you may find employment as a semi-skilled, horticultural trades person.
