Course Description
This course is designed for mental health professionals nominated by an employer to undertake training and education to become an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). You will undertake classroom based inter-professional education and 43 days of workplace learning and assessment and demonstrate the foundations of your existing mental health knowledge to become prepared for approved mental health professional practice, in accordance with National Occupational Standards. Completion of a research methods module and a dissertation will lead to a Masters Award.
