Vehicle Body Repair NVQ 2 Is this course right for me? This NVQ is a nationally recognised qualification that demonstrates competence to carry out activities as a Vehicle Body Repair Technician to a national standard. An NVQ is a practical-based qualification that assesses skills and knowledge technicians need to perform effectively. What will I be learning? The qualification covers the all the technical needs for today's industry including; health & safety, vehicle paint applications, materials and equipment, vehicle preparation and technical information, repairing non-structural body panels, removing and replacing components, air conditioning systems, and repair and replacement of glass fibre panels. How will I learn? You will be assessed in your workplace on your ability to carry out a range of skilled tasks. To show your skills and understanding you build a portfolio of evidence. There will also be series of phase tests and online tests to check underpinning knowledge. What else might I want to know? The suitability of the work placement will be checked by one of our trained assessors. What can I do afterwards?
