AWARDING/VALIDATION BODY Edexcel/London Qualifications ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Applicants will have met one of the following entry requirements: 4 GCSEs at grades A*- C including Mathematics, Physics and English; or BTEC First Certificate/Diploma in Construction/Engineering; or Advanced Craft Certificate in a BSE discipline. Mature students with relevant experience in this area will also be considered for entry onto this course. PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE This course is designed for those employed in the electrical installation disciplines of Building Services Engineering. The course has been structured to provide the knowledge and skills required for those employed as technicians in the design, installation or maintenance of schemes. Modules include: Construction and Environment, Electrical Principals, Electrical Installation and Services Control. PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES On successful completion students can progress onto the Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Building Services Engineering Electrical Installation).
