NVQ Level 2 Plumbing The NVQ Level 2 is a work based qualification. This means that you will need to be employed as a plumber in order to achieve the NVQ Level 2. You may be self employed or working for a plumbing company. You will have to demonstrate competent performance in the workplace although you may attend college to top-up or practice elements of your trade. Assessment is mainly by practical demonstration of skills in the workplace. You will need to keep a portfolio of evidence as you work towards your qualification.
