National Diploma in Landscape Construction and Amenity Management Introduction If you want to make a difference to the environment, if you are looking for a rewarding career with good progression opportunities or if you have an interest in art and design or construction skills but want to do something different then this is the course for you. The college provides excellent facilities to study and gain qualifications in Landscape Construction and Amenity Management. About the course This two year course covers the theoretical and practical aspects of garden design, construction and maintenance. You will be given the chance to work at leading venues across the country, through first class work experience opportunities, such as with The National Trust. You will complete a work placement in industry - an ideal chance to enhance your practical skills and knowledge. You will be encouraged to help build our prize winning show gardens and gain practical experience in the college nursery and gardens. You may be able to gain your NPTC spraying certificate. Progression and employment is directed at a wide career path from our FdSc and BSc (Hons) in Landscape Design and Management to running own businesses or leading landscapes, environmental construction companies and amenity management.
