Course Description
If you are a musician involved in music education and would like to read, evaluate and discuss music education in the broad sense as well as the specific, this course is ideal. It focuses on contemporary philosophies of music education. In particular, you will consider critically music and arts as a development of the intelligence of feeling, current issues in music education, sociological factors that influence the curriculum, and the provision and methodologies of educational investigation.
