Course Description
The Theory of Constraints (TOC) is increasingly acknowledged for its capacity to deliver a breakthrough in performance across the health and social care environment. There are now many case studies demonstrating its success in large teaching hospitals, district general hospitals, community hospitals, mental health facilities and across the whole health and social care system. Key to successful implementation is the development of internal capability and understanding of the Theory of Constraints. This course has been specifically designed to develop internal leaders who are capable of successfully delivering a breakthrough in their own health and social care system. The programme of study encompasses the TOC holistic approach to managing innovative improvement, incorporating the TOC thinking process tools together with the TOC functional applications, configured to meet the needs of health and social care systems.
