Course Description
The six sigma quality management approach is the de facto industry standard qualification and methodology in manufacturing and the service sector. The course covers the application of problem solving and statistical analysis techniques used in the process of developing and delivering near-perfect products. Two of the units in this course comprise the content of the 'green belt' and 'black belt' levels in the six sigma quality framework. There are two start dates each year, with suitable intermediary awards (PgC and PgD), and flexible weekend delivery that give the opportunity to gain a recognised academic qualification and enhance career prospects.
