Course Description
AIMS The aim of this programme is to give engineering and science graduates a good grounding in mechatronics design and practice. The programme provides an integrated approach to mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, control systems and computing, which will enable graduates to work effectively in an interdisciplinary engineering environment. PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION You complete compulsory modules (120 credits) which typically include: mechatronics distributed control systems microprocessor systems instrumentation and drive systems robotics industrial automation and design of mechanical power transmissions. You also take a research project with either an electronic or mechanical engineering emphasis (60 credits). Entry Requirements
A lower-second-class Honours degree, or international equivalent, in mechatronics, mechanical or electronic engineering or a related subject.
