Course Description
The MSc in Management is a recognised postgraduate qualification that is valued by employers in both the public and private sectors, and provides a sound basis for postgraduate research. The programme provides exposure to management concepts, knowledge and skills, which are academically rigorous and have practical application in the workplace. It is delivered by highly qualified teaching staff with research expertise and consultancy experience in management studies. This is complemented by support for your personal development through co-operative and participatory approaches to learning, and opportunities to share your ideas and experiences with students from a range of backgrounds, cultures and countries. Designed for recent graduates, the MSc in Management programme provides knowledge and understanding of business, and the analytical and management skills required for a successful career in today's world of work. In addition to the modules, professional skills development sessions aim to develop personal and interpersonal skills relevant to management, and to provide support for career planning. This one year full-time programme starts in mid-September and is taught over two semesters, September-January and January-May, with a dissertation from February to September.
