This new interdisciplinary MSc programme will equip you with the skills, knowledge and expertise to become a practitioner in Nanoscience, whether in industry or academia. The Bristol Centre for Functional Nanomaterials represents more than 100 academics from 13 academic disciplines in the faculties of Science, Engineering and Medical & Veterinary Science. We are based in the Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information ? the lowest vibration Nanoscience building in the world. As a student on the one-year, full-time MSc programme you will do the following units: ? Lectures on Functional Nanomaterials covering topics such as Electrochemistry at the Nanoscale, Nano-optics, Nanoscale Forces and Nano-biomaterials ? Training in Advanced Tools for Nanoscience through bespoke online modules, lectures and practical work ? Communication and Management Skills ? Two 3-month Training Projects and one 6-month Research Project working in interdisciplinary research groups.
