Course Description
A landmark collaboration between the world-renowned School of Geosciences and the School of Business and Economics at the University of Edinburgh, the MSc in Carbon Management provides high-level interdisciplinary skills and training in the business, economics and science of carbon management and climate change. The MSc course consists of full-time (12 months) or part-time (24 months) study, with assessment by course assignments and written examination. It boasts expert lecturers of international standing, excellent links to business , and the opportunity to conduct novel research on carbon management projects ranging from climate change mitigation and adaptation to carbon trading and auditing. Qualifications for Entry Applicants should have at least an upper second class honours degree or its equivalent in economics, management, or a social or physical science. Those whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency. Specifically: For students from non-English-speaking countries, there will be an English-language requirement as follows: a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 (250+ computer based or 100+ internet based) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7.0 or above. Alternatively, a recent degree from a university in an English-speaking country is acceptable. Funding Various whole and part scholarships are available for this MSc programme.
