*You must be able to show evidence of a specific neonatal education course independent of the pre-registration programme, and have a minimum of three years' experience in a neonatal intensive care environment. You must have an Honours degree or a postgraduate diploma or a professional qualification recognised as being equivalent to an honours degree, and have the support, in writing, of your nursingmidwifery manager to undertake the course. You'll gain an in-depth understanding of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills you need to practice at an advanced level, as well as the ability to critically appraise relevant health and social policy. Based over three years, the course is conducted as a blended learning process, involving a combination of lectures, tutorials, practice experience, online study, workshops and independent study.
