This programme is intended for performers who seek advanced practical tuition (in voice or instrument) with studies in interpretation and performance practice. Students are sent to specialist teachers outside the University for performance tuition. Academic work includes research into the musical styles and interpretation and performance practice relevant to the student's instrument voice. Students are expected to take a leading role in the performing activities at UEA, and may appear as concerto soloists with University Symphony Orchestra.
