Maths AS/A Level Overview Maths plays a significant role in careers in medicine, engineering, economics and the social sciences. Our everyday lives encounter mathematical questions and problems, from calculating how much a 15% discount is to working out the probability of the train being late; you cannot get away from maths. Description There are four core modules which will cover pure mathematics. You will also study statistics with data analysis and game theory. You can pursue further study in these fields along with Business and Economics degree courses. An A Level in Mathematics is highly regarded by both universities and potential employers.
