Course Description
The programme begins with the exploration of two essential elements in language teaching - the study of language itself, and the processes of learning and teaching language, including the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. It then moves on to the practical aspects of managing the classroom in language teaching and provides an opportunity to specialise in an area of TESOL such as language testing, materials design or teaching young learners. On completion of the programme you will be familiar with theoretical frameworks, materials and procedures for the study and evaluation of TESOL.
