Course Description
The MA is highly appropriate to those interested in conflict, peace-building, humanitarian aid and issues around governance. It adopts a unique interdisciplinary approach combining development perspectives in the analysis, understanding, and practical foundations for advanced studies in human rights, the origins of conflict and conflict resolution, democratisation, good governance and civil society. The course also addresses competing perspectives on contemporary world development, and on key issues such as (Post) Cold War Order, civil society, international relations and democracy, globalisation, political and governance and international political economy.
