EAL level 1 in Electrical Installations is a foundation qualification for those wishing to pursue a career in the electrical industry but do not have the necessary experience or qualifications to undertake the Level 2. Learners do not need to have an apprenticeship to enrol on this course, however work experience is beneficial. The qualification will consist of practical sessions and scientific theory sessions. Students may be required to undertake Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT or GCSEs alongside their qualification dependent on current level of attainment. Successful learners will be able to progress onto Level 2 Electrical Installation or another course within the architecture and construction field.

4 GCSEs at Grade E or equivalent or above to include maths and English at Grade D.
