Course Description
The DProf in Practical Theology is designed to appeal to those interested in relating theological, ethical and spiritual insights and methods to their own professional or voluntary practice. Participants are encouraged to use their practice as the foundation of a structured process of research. The programme is designed to be taken on a part-time basis, but can be taken full-time, and assessment is via the submission of a research portfolio and thesis. Participants meet regularly with their tutor and attend three residential workshops per year. In addition to this, a national summer school is held each July.
