Course Description
The programme is concerned with the management of all aspects of business strategy that are delivered through design. It focuses on the strategic management of design within the broader parameters of organisational and marketing strategy. Key features include: * Suitability for both designers and non-design trained applicants * A wide range of optional modules available * Tailored to students? individual career interests * Strong international dimension Structure The programme is based in the School of Art and Design and runs in conjunction with Salford Business School. It is therefore able to offer a wide range of option modules, allowing students to tailor the programme to their individual requirements. Core modules: * Design Industry * Design Strategy * Design Communication: Theory and Analysis * Research Methods Optional modules (selected from Salford Business School?s programme of modules) may include: * Organisational Behaviour * Project Management * Marketing Management * Consumer Behaviour * Strategic Management * International Business Environment * Managing Finance * Plus several specialist marketing modules Students also undertake a final dissertation project.
