Course Description
CS31 Chainsaw Felling Small Trees upto 380mm, including the Takedown of Hung Up Trees Using Hand Tools (NPTC) Cost 478 (includes use of equipment, NPTC registration & assessment) Duration Three days plus one day assessment to be arranged An additional charge maybe incurred if participants do not accept the assessment date offered to them About the Course This course is for participants anticipating to work in professional forestry, amenity or utility arboriculture activities and likely to involve felling trees up to 15 (380mm) in diameter. Three consecutive days training to NPTC standard, followed by one day NPTC assessment (to be arranged). The module requires reading and interpreting of information such as safety instructions and technical knowledge, and prepares participants for NPTC independent assessment. This intensive practical course requires a good level of physical fitness and an ability to study written technical information. Participants must have achieved CS30 before taking this course.
