Course Description

Successful completion of our Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) Diploma in Credit Management Level 3 course will provide you with an internationally recognised CICM qualification that is accredited by the UK Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF). This means you’ll be meeting the high standard of training required for a career in credit mangement, including areas of work such as collections, money advice and debt management.

Our CICM Diploma in Credit Management Level 3 course will expand your understanding of credit management, giving you skills and knowledge in areas including trade, commerce and export credit, as well as related areas such as collections, credit reporting, credit insurance and insolvency practice.

To help you move into or progress in a credit role, we will provide you with a sound understanding of the concepts, processes and techniques that underpin best practice across a range of credit environments.

You'll have to successfully complete all four compulsory modules in order to obtain the CICM Level 3 qualification. These four modules are delivered as evening classes, taking place once a week from 6pm to 9pm over a period of 13 to 14 weeks at the University's Moorgate campus in the City of London.

We currently run all four modules twice a year, in spring from February to May, and in autumn from September to December. If you only study one module at a time, the course can be completed in two years. Otherwise, you can opt to take two modules at the same time in order to complete the course in just one year.
