What you will study * Cross Infection * Anatomy * Radiography * Oral Hygiene * Orthodontics * Restoration * Legislation * First Aid * Health & Safety Your Course Structure Classrom: 50% Practical: 50% How you will learn Underpinning knowledge will be acquired by attending taught sessions in the classroom and your assessor will offer support as you gain practical experience in the workplace. How you will be assessed When you start the course you will be allocated an assessor who will carry out regular visits to your practice to observe you during surgery hours. Your assessor will also guide and support you in compiling your portfolio of evidence that you are reaching the required standards. Attendance You will attend classroom sessions at College for two hours per week during term time. You will also attend some sessions at Barnsley Hospital - these will be organised at the beginning of your course.
