Course Content Award: European Registration Scheme (ERS) What's it all about?: If you are already an experienced gas engineer, our flexible course means we can now assess and accredit you for those standards and appliances that you do not currently have in your portfolio of qualifications. This will save you time and money because you will not have to duplicate learning that you already know. If this is the first time you have approached the scheme then you will cover all the basics but if not, then you can pick and mix which assessments you need. Progression: You can progress to further courses at the College. Entry Requirements: In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need one of the following: ? four GCSEs at grades D-F (including English and maths) ? a BTEC foundation diploma in a related subject ? an NVQ Level 1/technical certificate in a related subject ? successful completion of the Gateway/Newstart course ? successful completion of the E2E/Prince's Trust course ? equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.
